Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Renal Pelvis Report of Three Cases

Abstract
|
|
|
Renal squamous cell carcinoma is rare, constituting 0.5%-8.0% of all malignant renal tumors. It has been known to be strongly associated with the chronic renal calculi or infection. On computed tomography, it appears as a hypovascular infiltrative lesion and reveals the similar radiologic findings as xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis. We reports three cases of renal squamous cell carcinomas which was discovered recently.
